A change in the air

Well its seems as thought the Real Estate Market is finally changing. Agents are getting busier & busier which a GREAT thing. I think sellers are FINALLY listening to their agents and Buyers are FINALLY realizing they cant keep giving low-ball offers! I hope this change keeps going. I could really use the change, as I am sure a lot of other agents can too!

From the beginning

Well where should I start, I guess from the beginning with how I got into the Real Estate industry. I grew up with my mother in Real Estate, she has had her license for 13+ years. So I understood how the markets changed and how it was a 24/7 career. Out of High School I did not think I could do the real estate career, too much of a flexible schedule and I knew that I would NEVER work and would want to play all day. So with that I got into Escrow. I worked in escrow for about 4 years, I'm glad I did this part because now being a Licensed agent I understand how escrows work. There are many agents out there who don't know the insides of escrow and they can't give their clients the answers that they always need. Now your probably asking, how did you get out of escrow and become a licensed agent. Well Linda London (my mother) works with Larry Young at Prudential California Realty. Together they are a team that most agents want to be. They came to me needing more help. Running the office, scheduling showing and being a buyers agent. I came to work for them in Sept. 2008, and in March I passed my California Real Estate Exam. I know that this is the career I was meant to do. Currently the market is VERY challenging but from what I am told from other agents is that if I can make it in this market I will make it in ANY market! I am looking forward to the challenges that will be brought to me. I also want to be able to educate people about the real estate market and be able to pass information on to other people...Thank you for following me on this journey...its going to be a bumpy, but rewarding one!
